We have been asked by a client to help them find a new Head of Accounting for their growing business. As they plan on gaining a PSF licence in 2026, they are planning the development of the accounting team and seek a Head of Accounting to support the Head of Finance.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:
• Leading and managing a team of 4-5 staff
• Managing a portfolio of holding company and financing company structures (plus fund structures once the PSF license is gained
• Responsible for the reparation and review of monthly/quarterly reporting’s and annual accounts for Luxembourg client entities
• Review and occasional preparation of VAT declarations
• Review and occasional preparation of corporate tax returns
• Oversee client delivery, develop high-level client contacts and support the company’s target for change and improvement
• Ensures compliance with law and regulations
• working in close cooperation with the legal/corporate team.

• 10-15 years of experience working in corporate (& fund) services in Luxembourg
• Strong technical accounting background, professional accounting qualifications a plus
• Fluent English language skills (written and spoken) - French & German a plus
• Good knowledge of the corporate services market, the impact of regulations and new products
